Jeanne Grunert has been a freelance writer for over 30 years. Her novels focus on issues of faith and family, with a paranormal twist that’s been described as Flannery O’Connor meets Edgar Allan Poe. She is the recipient of the Brockport Fantasy and Science Fiction Writers Award for her short story, “Runaway Boys”, and the Belles Lettres Award for Women Essayists.

As a successful and much in demand content marketing expert, Jeanne uses her storytelling gifts to help health and lifestyle brands educate and inspire their customers. She works with clients through her company, Seven Oaks Consulting.

But it is here, on the pages of her personal website, that you can get to know the writer behind the pages of the Majek Family Mysteries and countless articles published in national magazines and online.

Jeanne shares her deep faith and studies of Salesian spirituality on her personal blog as well as her abiding love for animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses. She makes her home in Virginia, where she lives with her husband, John, one spoiled German shepherd dog, and seven cats. When she isn’t writing for her clients or penning another novel, Jeanne can be found working in her extensive garden, walking the trails in local parks, or working on a new vegetarian recipe.
